Mission

As an independent, user-run organization, the SunGard Energy and Commodities (SE&C) User Group strives to ensure that members maximize the value gained from their investments in SE&C software by:

1. Providing a forum for sharing experience and knowledge with regard to SE&C solution use,
2. Facilitating communications among users of SE&C products,
3. Providing SE&C with collective views, perspectives and guidance that can help SE&C as it further refines and develops its software and services.

SES users can benefit from participation in the User Group, an active collaborative community of customers, energy and IT professionals, in several key ways:

1. Openly sharing information, ideas, methods and alternatives, in pursuit of best practice business processes with regards to SE&C products,
2. Sharing technology architecture and add-in development experiences and techniques,
3. Providing a focal point for dissemination of user-developed information pertaining to SES use.
